brisbane newborn photographer

27/1/2011

This adorable baby is newborn Hamish, another of my sessions held during the great Brisbane floods of 2011.
(I’m dating myself here, but I was a newborn during the Brisbane floods of ’74.)

They welcomed me into their beautiful home and baby Hamish was so small and cuddly.
He decided he was starving at the beginning of our session, but our patience was rewarded and I captured some wonderful photos of him, as well as the other members of the family at the end – Harry (the poser) and Ollie. (please correct me if I haven’t remembered their names)

I especially loved Hamish’s hair colour….and the way it swirled right at the top – so sweet.

We took refuge from the recent Brisbane floods in Northern NSW and I was so happy to photograph some of the swimwear from NOO Designs

Here are just a few of the proofs from the day. Thank you to the gorgeous models who all did an exceptional job :)

brisbane wedding photographer

13/1/2011

My poor blog seems neglected, but rest-assured that I’ve been working hard behind the scenes. I have many sessions to blog, first up is the long anticipated Wedding of Dominic and Sarah. (my first Wedding for 2011!)
We had many wet days leading up to their Wedding and predictions weren’t optimistic, but somehow they managed to be married on one of the best days in quite a while. (overcast and sprinkles, but none during the times that mattered)
We were armed with many umbrellas, but didn’t need to use them once. The following day the heavy downpour began once again.

Special thanks to Leanne for assisting me on the day – she did a wonderful job as usual.

Ceremony – Chapel of the Holy Family, St Joseph’s College, Spring Hill
Reception – Southbank River Room

There are a lot of images, so please be patient and let them load – hopefully you’ll find them worth the wait! :)

Getting ready…
