merry christmas

Wow, what a year. I feel truly blessed to be here to Celebrate Christmas with my family.
We’re finding JOY again, so I feel like things are on the right track.

This year I decided to go with a folded, textured card….

Aria (3) Kaden (7) Jonah (9) and Blake (11)

I always start planning my Christmas Cards around July (truly LOL) but as you may know, this year things went haywire and I only came up with this concept around October/November. (heavily influenced by a magazine cover I saw a couple of years ago of Oprah and Ellen LOL)
It felt rushed and I felt pressured, but in the end, it came together so easily and the hardest bit was actually waiting for them to be delivered from the US. I sent out every single copy I ordered, but forgot to keep one for myself (oops) (note to self – order more next year)

The kids were awesome. We blocked a busy footpath in the middle of the City and created a fair bit of attention, but I took the photos and it was over in minutes. I wasn’t quite sure how to include Aria (I thought I might have her running around them), but she naturally picked up the lights and started pulling, so I went with it. I think that’s my favourite part (hers too LOL)

Credits – the graphics were from a template by Arminda which I just adapted to suit my needs.

One of my most anticipated Weddings of the Year. Not only because I knew the Bride would be gorgeous and the location would be amazing… was because my beautiful cousin Zahrah was getting Married.
Zahrah and Dave wanted a day of Celebration and Happiness and I think they can say that they achieved that.
The weather was stunning and there was so many details I loved, none more than “Princess Sophia” :)
The Bridal party were hilarious and I hope I manage to convey here some of the laughter we shared.

Look closely – you’ll be able to see Dave fine-tuning his speech….

Nibbles and Drinks BEFORE the Ceremony – now that is a good idea!

I stood waiting for the Kombi (Princess Sophia) to round the corner and I swear I heard them coming before I saw them. The entire car was belting out “California Girls” so loudly, Katy Perry would have been proud :)
