Donna and Trent booked me to photograph their Wedding and I was so excited when I found out it was going to take place on Coochiemudlo Island. (Moreton Bay)
Everything was taking place on the island – getting ready, Ceremony, location photos and Reception.
They had paid special attention to every detail, from accommodation and transport for their guests, to the styling of the Ceremony site (they raked it and cleaned it and even made a mound in the sand for Donna to stand on :) ), special gifts for the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen – it was amazing and such a credit to them and those involved in the whole process.

They know the Island very well and were only too happy to show me all of their favourite places for photos.

The Ceremony was incredibly touching. I cried. The look on Trent’s face as he watched his beautiful Bride walk towards him still brings a lump to my throat. (I’m glad I was still able to focus and capture that moment – one of my favourite photographs)

I’ll try and narrow down some photos to share and break it up into a couple of parts. It was a huge day and photo opportunities in every direction.
I don’t want to miss anything as I feel it helps to tell the story of the day.
Special thanks to my assistant on the day, Mark. You’ll see some of his photos here too. (Very proud of the photographs he’s been taking actually….he really does listen to me :) )

plenty more to come…..

I’m happy to feature some photos today of cuties, Oliver and Sam.
I photographed them last 12 months ago and among other things, we wanted to get a photo with the wagon in the same spot as last time.
So lovely to see how they’ve grown – Oliver is looking more grown up in the face and of course Sam is now sitting (and walking!)

Last year –

This year –

Check out those eyes!!! Sam loooved the sand, I don’t know how many times he face-planted into the sand, haha. (didn’t seem to bother him either)

2 days before the session, I mentioned to Danielle and Adam that boats would have been a cute idea for the session. (never thinking for a minute that they would really go out and MAKE something)
Well, they took my suggestion and ran with it – as you can see the results were amazing. I was so impressed with the quality and attention to detail.
So, so cute – well done to both of you – they were my favourite photos of the day.
