It was such an honour to photograph the Christening of this special baby girl.
On a funny note, I had been told that Miss Megan was being fully immersed for her Baptism, so I knew she wouldn’t be wearing her gown when she arrived. I was a little early to the church and noticed a lady waiting with an elaborate Christening gown. I was *this* close to asking her if I could photograph the gown, but then Katherine and her family arrived….carrying their own gown. I’d forgotten there were other babies being Christened on the same day (5 actually) Can you imagine what the lady would have thought if I’d asked to photograph her gown LOL
Ceremony – St Bernards
Patiently waiting for the Ceremony to begin….isn’t she beautiful? She is such an easy-going little girl who is obviously adored by her whole family.

Megan receives the sign of the cross on her forehead by the Priest….

and is then anointed with oil…

Paying attention as the Priest reads the Celebration of Sacrament. (she actually sat like this for the whole Prayer)

The big event – Megan is Baptised!

Still smiling, she is dressed in her white garments.
