It was such an honour to photograph the Christening of this special baby girl.

On a funny note, I had been told that Miss Megan was being fully immersed for her Baptism, so I knew she wouldn’t be wearing her gown when she arrived. I was a little early to the church and noticed a lady waiting with an elaborate Christening gown. I was *this* close to asking her if I could photograph the gown, but then Katherine and her family arrived….carrying their own gown. I’d forgotten there were other babies being Christened on the same day (5 actually) Can you imagine what the lady would have thought if I’d asked to photograph her gown LOL

Ceremony – St Bernards

Patiently waiting for the Ceremony to begin….isn’t she beautiful? She is such an easy-going little girl who is obviously adored by her whole family.

Megan receives the sign of the cross on her forehead by the Priest….

and is then anointed with oil…

Paying attention as the Priest reads the Celebration of Sacrament. (she actually sat like this for the whole Prayer)

The big event – Megan is Baptised!

Still smiling, she is dressed in her white garments.

Another wonderful family that I photographed while in Sydney recently.
I felt like we were getting together for a catch up in the park with old friends :)
As you can see from the photos, Joshua and Georgia are completely adorable.
Joshua isn’t quite 2 years old (usually a tough age to photograph, but he did brilliantly)
Georgia is 3 months old and quite the chatterbox. I had to make sure to capture some video footage of her talking at the end of the session :)
(which I’ll try and post here if I can remember how)

I met this lovely family for a session and we had a great time just walking around and stopping when I found places to photograph.

The girls are Brianna (2) and Montana (almost 1). They have such a sweet relationship – I loved how attentive Brianna is to her sister.

Brianna is so cute and I love that when she laughs, her whole face lights up.
I challenge anyone to look at her face and not smile :)

Finally here’s the gorgeous Montana wearing her birthday outfit :) At the time of these photos, she was just days away from her 1st Birthday.
