Busy time of the year here!

Sadly, I did two charity sessions last week, so I’ve been working on those.
I’m also presenting a workshop this weekend at the
Annual meeting for the Australian Charity of Child Photographers.
I’m looking forward to putting names to faces as we’ve been
“talking” for so long, but have never actually met.

I’m also trying to keep up with my Wedding and Portait sessions -
I posted a couple of orders out this week with more to go after the weekend.

I collected a canvas this morning which I will be displaying at the Expo
next weekend and I LOVE it SO much. I can’t stop looking at it :)

I’ll be sure to take a photo when it’s hanging at the show.

Dark, dreary and cold here today. I’ve been wanting to take some more
photos, but had to be satisfied with indoors. It gave me plenty of
opportunity to practice with my flash.

I bought this outfit in honour of Mark and the boys and their love of AC-DC :)
(yes, Mark has a lot to answer for! I’ve gotten even though -
you should hear Jonah sing James Blunt – ha!)

It was worth the money just to hear Blake and Jonah laugh
when they realized what it says :) :)

Isn’t she so beautiful.

Happy Birthday!!

Oh boy, I had to go back into the dark depths of my external
hardrive to find these photos.
I took these when Kaden was a week old (5 years ago)
Many of the photos just weren’t usable – weird angles, distortion, haze, focus and blur.
I still love them anyway :)
(These were taken with my Sony P&S)

Can you see his hairy little arms….and the hair above his ears – so cute! :)

I was flicking through his baby health book yesterday and noticed that he was only
8.5 kgs at 12 months old. (something like the 3rd percentile)
That’s only 1kg more than Aria is now. (she’s in the 50th percentile at 6 months)

It’s weird how we never worried about his weight though.
We just always knew he’d be small for some reason.
(He may be small…..but he’s LOUD and he’s FAST :)
He’s been training with Jonah’s soccer team (Under 7′s) because he didn’t
make the cut-off to start playing this year.
He’s hilarious to watch and he’s actually more passionate about soccer than
the other two.

I’ve taken the weekend off from sessions which feels a little strange,
but I’m sure I’ll have my camera out at some stage, as
we’ve got the BIG party tomorrow.
It’s his first non-family “Party” so he’s very excited.
There’s something like 25 kids coming from school……keep me in your thoughts :)

Just a reminder about my upcoming classes at the Scrapbook Expo -

EXPO

My class is booked out on Saturday, but I believe there are
still places available on Sunday & Monday.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

PS – I notice it says you need an “Expo Tool Kit” for my class
(trimmer, adhesive, baby wipes etc)…

you definitely do NOT need anything like that.
A pen and notepad will be just fine.
