Baby on Board…..still

31/10/2007

Thought I’d better update – I’ve been in hospital, but was released on “good behaviour” :)

Baby is doing well – stubbornly refusing to leave his/her comfortable surroundings.

I’ve been having lots of pre-labour action/practice contractions which I’ve never experienced before…exciting and frustrating all at the same time.

I go back to hospital today for further tests/monitoring.

COME OUT BABY!

PS – I know I’ve written about my sucky-pregnancy-intuition.
I was convinced I was having a GIRL, born in OCTOBER, small size (7lb) who looks like Jonah (fair).

I now wish to amend my prediction -

a BOY, born in NOVEMBER, 10lb (LOL) who looks like Kaden (dark)

Swim caps – I found ours at Target (toy section…but near the goggles, water play toys etc)
and Leanne has found a similar version at Amart All-Sports.

They are a talking point at swimming, that’s for sure :)

37 weeks….

21/10/2007

After being told for the whole pregnancy that I would be induced at 38 weeks,
it was decided today that I will be left until full term. (even over!)

Argh! My BP is now behaving itself, bubs is now head-down (after lying transverse – ouch!)
I’m having weekly scans to monitor growth and the placenta and apart from general aches
and pains, I’m feeling pretty good.

I wanted to avoid being induced again and to experience the onset of labour just once
…but it’s going to take me time to get my head around another possible 3 – 5 weeks.
I’m ready now!!!!
Both Blake and Jonah were induced at 42 weeks, so I’m not holding my breath at going early.
Feel free to send me some go-into-labour vibes though :)

Photo sessions -
I’ve been keeping on top of the sessions and Margie yours will be ready to go out this week.
I have another which will hopefully be ready early next week (Hayley)

I’ve been taking bookings for 2008 – I’ve replied to several e-mails and still have a few to get to
(hopefully tonight/tomorrow) Thanks for your patience!
